Is UV Resin The Worst? Making A 3D, GLOW IN THE DARK, UV RESIN ALIEN FLOWER! 👽

Do I absolutely HATE UV resin? yes. but I hate it a little less now 🥰 We made a bunch of flower petals out of gold wire which was excruciating. We also mixed up a few different colors of UV resin! Each color GLOWS IN THE DARK!! So we took the wire petals & dipped them in the UV resin trying to get a bubble effect which ACTUALLY WORKED 🫢 I'm still shocked that this worked lol We then assembles the petals into a 3D flower........ needless to say.. I was wrong 🤯 It came out magical 😭

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! I love UV resin and have used it for a few years now. The color powder was so nicely saturated and the bonus glow in the dark ability was great!!! I can't wait to possibly see more creations from UV resin if you're feeling it. Love your channel and your energy!!

Yaaay, I'm so happy you fell for UV resin!! I use it so much and knew you could make gorgeous things if you get to know it!! I'd recommend you to use a thinner wire for the petals, it'd be so much easier to manipulate, and maybe bend them on a ruler or sth like that would help with edges. Also you can heat the resin after mixing it with the heat gun to get rid of bubbles and then wait a bit till it cools down if you want it thicker or less if you want it runny. And then uv uv uv it till it gets friking hard, maybe sun bathe in the window for a day or two, it works great!

You should use FLOWER FOAM! or some cylinder of foam to hold the stick petals while you arrange them! 😁🌸👍🏻

This was a super tight video! I bought an art kit when I was a teenager that made this same thing but obviously it wasn't resin. It was some thin gel stuff that hardens. This was hilarious and gave some serious nostalgic vibes. Love it.

the struggle is real!! You made them the hard way too lol.. make the loop.. then pull the long piece over through the middle to make the center line, and secure it... silly Heather! it came out great though! So pretty!! Sorry you had to fight with the wire though.
