For men, the Family Tree DNA company is the only one doing Y-DNA testing that I know of. It helps tie together your ancestral origins. I would feel incomplete without it.

It is interesting to do a DNA test for you to know the ancestors lost in the world, the film is very good.

I have always wanted to take a dna test. Got a bit upset to realize ancestrydna and 23andme do not ship dna testing kits to my country- Azerbaijan. The shipment is possible to all neighbouring countries though, so hopefully it will be available where I live too.

AncestryDNA sucks when it comes to ethnicity reports. They drop DNA that's below 7 or 8 cM. That means a lot of the small DNA pieces that you might have gotten from your 5th, 6th great grandparent, or on back will most likely not show up in your ethnicity report from them. So, don't be surprised if you do other DNA tests and have quite a bit more stuff pop up from other ethnicity groups that don't on AncestryDNA. That's because some of those companies allow smaller DNA pieces to be counted in their reports. But AncestryDNA is great for finding close relatives and doing your family trees. I'd say they are one of the best companies for that. I love their ThruLines feature also.

6.15: This is what Im trying to find out, which testing company is more in tune with European backgrounds like myself. I heard or read ages ago that one company was better to use because it was more Eurocentric but I do not remember it being 23&Me...so that has stumped me..mmm

I wish I knew where Becker's muscular dystrophy came from. Or gastroparesis it's actually worse than muscular dystrophy 60/40 in my opinion. Which magical element had to happen for those two diseases to torture whoever gets it.
