It sounds like there line and ticket people need to have a better system for future cons. It will hurt them in the long run since it will hurt sales because people will not have a chance to see con activities if there in line nor buy any merchandise or other items. Second it will cause people to get annoyed and just leave and not go to future cons. I've had con experiences similar to this however they listen to the fans and improve every year. I'm going to Otakon this august 11-13 in Washington DC. One recommendation I sent to Otakon is to invite anime you tubers to the con seeing as it's the largest con on the east coast yet I rarely see anyone in the YouTube community mention it kinda weird.
