I’m so glad King and Collector became friends. I knew King would outlive his family by millennia, and I was worried, but at least he won’t be alone.

this gets even worse when you realize that this is going to happen at some point in their story, because King will inevitably vastly outlive all of the friends and family he has by centuries maybe even millennia.

This rlly demonstrates the collector's growth as it was stated that if he wants to he can actually resurrect the dead however he now understands the importance of life so he instead lets them rest, which in a way is kinda wholesome but in a sad way

Dammit why ya gotta hit all our hearts after the series ended 😢

I refuse to let the owl house die! Come together, brothers and sisters! Let us all show Dana how much we love the owl house and continue to expand her influence onto the world!!!

It's nice that King and the Collector are friends. On their timescale, everyone else dies in a blink of an eye, so it's good that they have eachother

As sad as this is I can't help but imagine the generations of kids who will grown up with 'Great Uncle King'.

The pros of immortality: you won't die, make new friends when they all are gone
Cons: you wish u could, because your old friends who've been with you for so long are gone for good
Beautiful comic, yet sad at the same time

This is the reality check i didn't need. Because it's true that King and the collector will outlive everyone else, but this is also a hit for real life knowing that we all have limited time on earth and we will all eventually pass away

first off, Willows tomb saying "Until next time" hurts my heart and soul for some reason, and Amity's tomb saying "beloved mother and wife" tells me how much of a better person she must have been to her family then her own mother was... ;-;

I love the trope of immortality (or long lifes, in this case) where they live to see everything they know and love change. It really does pull on your heartstrings.

The fact that King have to live like this knowing that every person he loved has and eventually will pass away and he will just have to take all that sadness and have to live for the better good make every Owl house fan sad but atleast he has a friend he can be with for all the life he has left someone to be with him which is so amazing. This is one of the best bittersweet moment I have ever seen

Honestly seeing the way the collector handled death in the finale and the way they responded here is just.
Chef's kiss
I can just imagine the collector sitting on king's shoulder and asking him to tell everyone's life stories, for old times sake

Por suerte King tiene al Coleccionista
Sus amigos podrán morir, pero el Coleccionista estará casi siempre para el

I legitimately started tearing up when I saw the tombstones because I just lost an important person in my life today and now this, 😭

The Collector: what will you have after 500 years?
King: You buddy. I'd still have you

The graves and their epitaphs were really well done. "Hunter *Park"* and "Amity *Noceda*-Blight" warmed my heart, too, even if it's bittersweet.

I like to think King would bond with every subsequent generation of the crew's families. Though none could replace Eda, Luz and the gang; at least he, and maybe Collector too, wouldn't be alone as time goes by.

Desafortunadamente es real, pasarán las décadas y solo ellos quedarán en pie. 😢😢😢.

oh god..I just realised that on Amity’s grave you can read “..and wife” so that probably means Amity died before Luz 😭
