Taiwanese tech company Advantech is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The PC manufacturer has pivoted in the last 10 years to focus on smart tech. It’s developing a wide variety of artificial intelligence applications and internet of things products. They’re aimed at industries as diverse as medicine, manufacturing, retail and transportation. Advantech executives say that the internet of things is the future of Taiwan’s tech industry.
