ATTACK DRUMHEADS -- Terry Bozzio Sig Series Available @ www.cymbalsandsnares.com

This is a Single ply Med coated snare head. It is the Terry Bozzio signature series head. It's actually a snare head pack. The Snare side or rezo head is a clear thin head. I have to tell you this is the first ATTACK brand head I have given a series work out on and I'm very impressed. I have the head tuned a little on the tight and high side and all I can say is wow ! Excellent attack, responce and projection. The coating adds a bit of warmth to the head without diluting that "Crack " I love in my snare drum. ATTACK claims it's coating last longer than their competitors and I'm starting to believe that. ATTACK heads also have the Patented collar lock system where no glue is used to adhere the head to the collar. This is said to prolong the life of the head and is garaunteed to keep the head from slipping out from the collar. I am very impressed by the snare head pack from ATTACK. Bottom line...Attack heads are excellent and they are very reasonably priced. Good video man!

I use the TB Attack head on my entire kit and I love the also use attack black medium 1 ply heads for the resonant side of my kit as well. I think people are sleeping on attack drum heads. I've tried their 2 ply med clear heads as well and they have a very deep, crisp sound as well.

i bought that exact head a few months ago and didn't like it.
i just yesterday tuned it down a bit and added a moon-gel...
never gonna use a different brand

Have you tried the jingle snare drum head (with tambourine jingles on it) from Attack? I can't seem to find a dealer in Paris for these heads.

i use carpet tape for a dampener lol, it sounds awesome!!!...i might need to make a video and show you how good it looks/sounds...haha!

Hey T when I am at band practice and I'm sitting out at the beginning of a song through an intro and come in a few seconds into it my snare drum rattles would moon gel stop that? I hate having to hold my snare wires and I'd love to find something to stop that

@ILDUCE61 The old gold badged pro m's they sound great, but in my front room they dont have enough space to really punch... too compressed. but when I take them on road trips and have a whole venue that is acoustically good. they have enough punch and enough tone to burst heads.. I love them, they look alittle run down now, quite sad about that.

So what's the deal with Attack drumheads? I know a few well known drummers use them including Bozzio, Scott Rockenfield, and Eric Singer, but why don't they seem to have a website? Also I noticed that many musical outlets like Guitar Center do not seem to carry them.

Nice commentary, however I felt this video would have been better with specific microphones for the snare drum, and a variety of tunings shown. Also,   it would have been nice to hear it without any form of muffling.

snare sounds good but the sounds is a bit to dead, i dont really like moon gels on snares, i like that little ring, not much,
