This is a brilliant movie. It has so many stories to tell that all come perfectly together right up until the very last second. All the actors just fell from the sky into the screen.

This scene with the low speaking voices and general quiet gives it a relaxing ASMR element to it! It's a well written and acted scene and also relaxing to listen to and watch! I also wondered if how different the film would have been if they could have got a slimmed down Marlon Brando to play King Benny. Though VG was great.

King Benny walks into the office of a drug kingpin, casually asks him for 8000 dollars and audaciously even tells him that he is not gonna pay him back (As someone else will). Not only does he get the money he asks for, he even gets complimented a lot. On top of it all, when King Benny tells him that the debtor was his brothers murderer, he is believed without too much questions. THAT is what RESPECT AND STREET CREDIBILITY is all about.
