Why make such a big deal out of student loans? Except to offer a freebie to get votes?

You get yourself into debt, you get yourself out of yourself. It's not the obligation of the American taxpayer to do so. Period!

It would be great if our veterans and senior citizens were being fought for so hard, not those adult babies.

Ok if we are going to fight for that cause are we going to forgive the debts of homeowners who had to take out a second mortgage for their homes, or even a car, or how about bail for those individuals who may or may not have committed a crime? How about a loan for starting a business, or organization? If you answered no to any of those then this is a ploy to get young voters to vote democrats and the feeling police and their policies. Stop pandering to individuals and do what is right for the American people and those who gave their lives for freedom and liberty.

What about US, the lenders? One of the huge issues is major courses of study with no prospect of earning enough
$$ to pay off their debts. I want to emphasize, their debts, not debts that can be foisted off on the taxpayers who paid their debts or never took out a loan. Socialism for a protected class, student loan debtors. Motivation by Biden, purchase votes with non-debtor's tax money!

These debts need to be made dischargeable in Bankruptcy. Change the law.

You cannot rationalize a double talking irrational mind.
Creating another Act is not going to make the existing Law null and void.
They are receiving a paycheck from the taxpayers to draft paperwork that they know will do nothing in trying to extinguish existing loans funded by the taxpayers.

This is bs. If you take out a lone, it is your responsibility to pay it off.
