Steve Lawson is not very far behind Dr. MacArthur. Dr. Lawson is superb at preaching and exposition and he is a great man of God.

It appears steve Lawson's work is to have many hour talks on (many) of the modern day preachers that he seems to believe is turning the world upside down as the apostles did...BY the Lord back then, not technology. How many hours of praising good men Steve, and how many hours giving us something from the bible? You decide.
We believers are immensely thankful for the Puritans, Calvin, and more modern is the truly gifted MLJ, CHS, Albert N Martin and Eric Alexander, James Boice...and they'd be 1st to say thanks for support but careful in praise of men....You exalt them too much Steve.

This is the a calvinst gorge fest of a false prophet. Note there is no proof he is called of God to teach, and Calvinsim is a new fusion of gnosticism arianism, and manicism. His words will fade but The Word of God will never change. Especially John Chapter 6

These facts were taken from the biography of John MacArthur, which was not written by Ian Murray.
Very little in the book is true. It has been proven that he was not at the MLK assassination site, nor was he recruited by the Cleveland Browns. In fact, he attended Bob Jones University, until 1959 when his father Jack was removed from their Board of Directors. John does not have two earned doctorates, yet he is called Doctor, erroneously. At LA Pacific College, he attended from 1960-1962 where he played football. One game- 1 carry, 3 yards. He would spend the rest of his life talking about his football achievements and use football analogies for ministry, but he lied about that. He would also go on to say that he was the "only editor" of the MacArthur New Testament commentaries; however, he had nothing to do with those as well. In addition, later, he would say that he had editorial input and supervisory role over the MacArthur Study Bible, but that is also a lie. MacArthur cannot read Greek. Balk if you want, but investigate the proof. The proof is out there. God bless.
