I like how Aman said that in east Asia money speaks for other guests to pinpoint that Trump's tariffs are exactly the thing that would make those countries poorer and so be more aligned with China. Even the 10% is already a lot.

This is much more complicated than people are giving it credit for!
We should be looking at a limited wealth tax and taxing the wealthy at source! If I have businesses in the UK I’m not going to move those businesses to the UAE even if I move there myself!
Increasing the council tax is a dumb move, IMO, since the poorer people also have to pay this tax and if they can’t afford to pay they end up selling their house to a rich landlord! The rich get richer and the poor get poorer!
