The reason Charlotte takes pictures of you hold her skill is because there is gadget that works with her travel passive that was given out during an event. You have to turn it off to get her hold skill to work. Which is important because you want to use the hold version usually.

Her only downside is how un-optimal it is to need to use her fully charged skill to get her best cryo application. She feels like a quick swap unit, but she’s not getting the full value without that fully charged skill. And it’s more limited than something like Nahida’s skill. Other than that, she’s a solid healer with one of the best single burst party heals in the game. The only other issue is working around the fact that she only heals off burst.

I build her as a healer/driver. Fav Codex, 2pc Emblem + 2pc atk (atk, atk, crt rate) with ER at 220% and 2100 atk.
