What really makes this movie stand out is how it defies cliches while still feeling like it's following the 90s Disney formula.
Anastasia gets what she has wanted for several years and yet, in that moment, discovers that isn't entirely what she wanted.
And at the same time, it's tragic that her memory loss prevented her from truly knowing what it was like to have a family or grow up in one.

How I like this cartoon, watched many times when I was 13 years old. Yes, when I was 13 years old, I wasn't little kid, but I miss that time anyway, that was my childhood. Angela Lansbury always added charm and class to the characters she played. This is was no exception. She fit the part of Dowgar Empress Marie. This was a beautiful movie and the characters were enjoyable to watch.
