The US is the UK. In the same way the Roman empire split into the western and eastern Roman Empire in the 3rd century AD. The Bristish empire split into two when the "Americas" won the war of independence. The USA is now just the more powerful part of the British empire. The USA controls the world in the same way the British Empire has always controlled the world, by controlling the world economy.

In medieval England the term "president" emerged as a title to refer to the head of a private company or social organisation or club. The first American colonies were private ventures established by trading companies such as the virginia company, the head of these colonies was usually referred to as a "president"

When I was younger I thought that the US was an extension of the UK. Not sure why but I always assumed America was a separate branch of the UK.

The U.K. Does not run the U.S. But that being said, I am a us veteran and I would very happily go back to war if some other country attacked the U.K. Just because a two brothers fought each other does not mean they would let anyone else get in on it.

Odd Fact - in the '80s, the USA's Social Security fund had changes made to it.   In order for it to become legal and lawful, it was sent to the UK for Queen Elizabeth II to sign, in order to ratify it.   Try a Google search on it for yourself.

I am a professor of Early Modern history and found a great deal of primary research regarding the founding of the banks of England and Scotland in 1694 and 1695 respectively, I plan to write a book about it at some point. If anyone knows that there are shades of grey in history - it's me. I truly believe that the Revolution was an agreement coming down from the Masonic societies to enter into a government that was not controlled by religion or a monarch.
