Motorola Droid Ultra, three months later

Three months ago, the Motorola Droid Ultra launched as one of a trio of Droid devices on Verizon Wireless. It packs a 1.7 GHz dual-core CPU with Motorola's X8 architecture, 5-inch 720p HD display, 10-megapixel camera, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 2,130 mAh battery, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Motorola's UI. It brings a near-stock Android experience, with some nice software bonuses like Motorola Assist and the "OK Google Now" feature found on the Moto X. Three months later, it goes up against high-end heavyweights like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, HTC One, One max, Galaxy S 4, and LG G2. Can it - and the Droid brand itself - stand out?

I've had the phone for about a year and I love this phone. The camera isn't the best but every thing else about it is amazing.

The SIM card is behind the volume rocker.

If phone dog would do giveaways like android authority or android central they would get alot more subscribers. I feel like all the other tech channels are growing fast and phonedog is just standing still as far as subscribers

I've been in a "Droid" 12 step program for some time now. I was hooked! But then i saw the light. LG-G2 is my daily driver now, i can't go back unless moto drops the moniker and dumps the exclusivity. And Hell, I'm with Verizon.

I still love my droid maxx, and can't wait for kitkat!! glad I got the phone with the larger battery and extra memory! Honestly other phones are starting to catch up to Motorola when it comes to batteries in the ultra, mini, and moto X but the maxx still trumps most! I have been looking at switching carriers to get the oppo N1 though... :o

The Droid Maxx now at $199 is a pretty nice almost stock Android phone. The Ultra and Mini?--mnah...

Actually, I'm not even sure I'll hang with Verizon once my contract is up in January especially seeing as they've turned up their noses at the Nexus 5. Later, Verizon!

Don't think an SD car a lot should be a downside to a phone a lot of phones do not have them and moving to the cloud is gonna be the future and already is
