This is probably the biggest post-series depression I’ve ever had. The total change between the joy in their mom’s house to those heartbreaking last 20 minutes. Holy crap, I love this series so much, but I need to breathe… for a while.

the scene with tom and team walking into the conference room has to be one of the hardest scenes in the show. It shows how quickly the money machine moves on despite who's running it. everyone's just a gear in the machine. faulty parts get replaced

Roman, Kendall, and Shiv watching that virtual dinner with Logan realizing there is a side to their father they never saw because he never respected them enough to open up to them was pretty great. Shows that in the end, Connor was still the eldest boy.

It was the ending I expected since season 1 and it still hurts.

Kendall has so many flaws and would've been a disaster as CEO but he's also my #1 boy and I'm sad.

This show is like Shakespeare and The Godafather mixed with the history of the Roman Empire and today's events but taking place in Wall Street . What a masterpiece of a show. This and Better Call Saul has truly shown me what great tv writing can be. In my opinion, one of the greatest tv shows right now. Praises all around.

The part that really broke me, was the scene where Kendall’s lying about killing the boy. It was like a subtle moment where they all saw just how far they’re obsession with power and the grief of loosing Logan, had got them and all of them handled it differently. Kendall: in complete denial and anger, Shiv not being able to stomach any of them, even herself and Roman being the only one who’d finally made peace with it all. Like this guy said: Roman got the best deal out of it and to be honest, after everything he’s been through this season, I think that is the perfect ending.

The fact that Tom and Greg were the outsiders in the Roy family but got the last laugh is just so incredible writing.

There is so much to discuss but I wanted to particularly talk about when Shiv joined Tom in the car. When Tom offered his hand and she held it you could literally feel the power shift and the dynamics turn on its head. Shiv has tons of pride and loved the power she had but the minute it was taken away from her, especially to Tom, you could see the face of defeat and acceptance. That was extremely humbling to watch and it's crazy to see what power can do.

When Madsen said even judas is here. Shiv was outside of the conference room standing outside right behind Greg so it might have been a double meaning.

Tom kept Greg cause he see's a lot of himself in him

The most brutal line in the series finale gotta be:
"She is the bloodline"
In general this series finale was devastating. No matter how much Kendall tried to do better, he always lost everything. He might as well be a character in a Cosmic horror story

Tom is a survivor that’s why he become the CEO.

A lone lion can be ripped apart by a group of hyenas 😢

"Succession" turns out to be the finest and the most brutal show ever. It gave us a Season 3 finale that matched up to "Game of Thrones"'s Red Wedding without shedding a single drop of blood and in its series finale without beheading or murdering anyone it gave us one of the most brutal betrayal ever — its shock factor being felt on the other side of the screen and leaving the characters and all of us contemplating the future.

The actors: Jeremy to Kieran to Nicholas to Macfayden to Sarah to Brian to Alan ... take a bow.

Felt like there was a shift in the power dynamic with the scene of Shiv and Tom in the car at the end.

this ending was perfect. especially in the scene where they are in the kitchen, we saw that they are still a bunch of children. tom was constantly growing and evolving in terms of being successful. in every season finale, we saw that he had his succession in his own way. so it was not that difficult to guess that the “children” couldn’t make it

Tom knew it was a completely shitty move to play on Shiv. Greg showed loyalty to the family and some weird kind of integrity. Maybe that’s what Tom saw in him, in case he ever needs that kind of support in the future. I was moved when he stuck the sticker on him. Can we have a sequel in 30 years with Shiv and Tom’s kids?

Shivs betrayal was clearly foreshadowed by Tom giving her the scorpion in the crystal referencing the story the frog & the scorpion it's just her nature, satisfying ending.

I think Shiv would never be CEO (not bc shes a woman) but because she is always changing sides due circumstances she betrayed everyone since season one (doing campaign for her Dad enemy and then changing when her Dad offered her the succession) she continued to do that for 4 seasons (remember when Rhea trapped her with a open position and told her dad?) That's her arc, not sticking with anything because she hates to take risks and being CEO required to take some level of risks.

Honestly episodes like this should come with a warning - do not watch unless you want to be depressed for days. I felt similarly about the end of Ozark.

As a Connhead...he was the only child in the movie. Logan knew Connor has no acumen, but Con called him Pop, and Pop went to New Mexico for the family counseling. Plus, he came out with a fair way to divide the riches. I would love to see the cow pattern sofa.

He is the oldest son, and the nicest guy.
