I remember seeing the original 'Audience is Listening' intro in the cinema when I was a kid in the 80s. Had no idea what it was at first, but it blew my mind, which was probably the desired effect. The Terminator 2 version was great, but this was a classic.

This was the best THX intro, A true highlight of going to the Theatre in the 90's. Went to an Imax movie recently and I think they have turned the volume down in the theatres :( . Anyone remember that feeling when you would sit back and feel your chair resonate?.

You combined the original Broadway Deep Note, and the Broadway 2000 Deep Note together.

You sit in a black room, a blue frame appears and white text that reads "The Audience is listening.." You hear a faint noise, it gets louder, and Louder, and LOUDER, until the THX Logo appears inside the frame. Then you wake up and you realize, someone stole your DVD Player!

Hey THX, I liked the logo ever since I was a baby and when I was younger, my dad's friend put the thx logo history on my SD card, I don't know if he is dead or not, but I would like to congratulate him on changing the sound of theaters with this single sound, Happy 38th anniversary.

If you are scared of this logo you're probably watching TV in the dark. The dark was probably your REAL fear as a kid!

When you see that blue rectangle pop up on the black screen with an “ominous” music building up… That means you might want to take cover.

Remember being confused that this wasn’t the beginning of the Star Wars blu ray from 2011, fast forward to the end of episode 1(yes I watched them in timeline Order) and that iconic blue rectangle popped up needless to say this is a classic.
