Carnival Venezia Il Viaggio Restaurant Review

We went to the Carnival Venezia Il Viaggio restaurant and we are sharing our review. There are a couple other new restaurants, be sure to watch our review video of those too.

The only one of them that is a specialty restaurant is Il Viaggio, the others are complimentary. These restaurants replace Shaq's Chicken and Guy's Pig and Anchor. So far we have found the Carnival Venezia food to be very good.

We are loving our time on the Carnival Venezia and think it will be a great ship to take your cruise vacation on.

Wow! Thank you so much for all of this information! My husband and I are booked on this ship over the Labor Day weekend. This is our first cruise (aside from my QE2 trip from a former life 20 years ago). So far, we have taken your recommendation on taking the upgrade on a Terrazza Cabana from a balcony... and after watching your review of the Italian restaurant, booked that too!! Just got back from our cruise on the Venezia, we did eat at the Italian restaurant. My husband had the pork chop and I had the jumbo shrimp scampi. The high light was definitely the Limoncello mojito. Ever since we discovered that drink, every night after dinner we go to the bar outside the Italian restaurant called Frizzante to order it. They are the only place you can purchase that drink. Overall it was good, I still prefer the steakhouse 555 in my opinion.

There is only one pasta dish at Cucina del Capitano and that is the linguini. All other pastas are side dishes.

Hi, i was looking for that steak pizzaiola thats in your video on the menu so that i can order that when i go on the firenze but don't see it on any of the menus for either ships. Has it been discontinued or was that just a special for you guys?

Great video....thank you!! You said that the pollo parmigiana pizza was your entrée and it serves two people… Does that mean we cannot order another entrée with only two people dining? A bit confused about that… Thanks for helping.
