I bought this case recently, like a month ago from amazon at the original price and the E logo on the case is black in color instead of gold. Did element case changed the color or it have many variants? Anyone can confirm? Thanks.

Damn, I so want this case.. But it's essentially a bumper. Before this review, I thought the CF back was built into the case itself. Seems a bit cheap that its just a stick on accessory. I'll stick to my full CF case for now.

I for one, have bought 2 of Ronin II edition.. Ronin 2 G10 Alumunium and Ronin 2 Bocote,
I love this case, its the holy grail of cases. I mean, if you guys confused about the price, it means you are not in that need of exclusivity.  In my country nowadays, 3/5 people Use Iphone.. So, how about upgrade your iphone to make it more stand out with a small amount of money, i mean it doesnt cost as much as the phone. Remember, Iphone is an exclusive(if not expensive) phone. Whats the problem with using a 'little' ( or quite) expensive case for you exclusive phone?. There's no harm if you just go buy some $10 cheap 'made in china' case sfor your expensive phone, but come on...

 if you still asking question about the price, then again, Why people buy $1000 Shoes, why people buy $500 piece of shirt, why people buy $15000 watch? the answer is the same. They or ( i i can say)we need exclusivity, we need something that makes us stand out in socialization. Actually my salary is only $500-$600 per month, but i managed to buy this. because its simple. its worth the money! this is just not an ordinary case, its a piece of art

This is a tough one for me. I can see the appeal of such a product, but I don't really see the market for it. I mean, if you have the money for it, you probably have the money for new phones, meaning you'll most likely be changing out phones with some frequency. Its design is nice as well, but with the carbon fiber, it's not really business/classy enough for those wanting stand out in a business meeting, etc. I just can't see why this product really exists. It's nice, but who really buys it?

I seriously wonder how Element Case can still stay in business after all these years. I just don't see them having a worthwhile customer base and sufficient monthly profit with the products they offer. I'm not hating on the cases, but the business model just seems ridiculous imo.

Tell Element I said have one of their cases and it is really nice but a royal pain in the rear end due to the fact that you have to have the screw driver in order to get the darn thing off. "I carry a tiny screw driver with me all the time" said no one ever.  At the rate of $300 they are really pushing the envelope with people.
