Mods: J37a1, cold air intake, headers, exhaust, ktuner

unfortunately we never saw it's full potential, he passed away only a couple months after he built it... Acura LTD slip 6 speed gear box with carbon syncros [built by him]... his calculations showed the potential for 180+ MPH...and you can see here, he's in 5th with still another 1000 rpm to go to hit his 7400 redline....plus sixth gear ...some raw language, my son would be the one laughing at 165 MPH

I'm planning on building a J37. I am going to take it to the track as well. I wish more people would post videos of these cars at the track (turns, not dragstrip). They are very capable cars in the turns as well!

Been driving my 2005 accord v6 since new, it surprises a lot of folks. I only have a K&N drop in filter, and J-Pipes to factory exhaust.

These and the gen prior to this in coupe form are definitely nice little platforms for builds. They’re comfortable and yet still aren’t very heavy, the engine options are aplenty as is the aftermarket support for those engines. And in a situation like this one it’s probably ~3200# and with that 330whp J series it will have acceleration on par with
(or better than) a lot of popular sport/performance car models.

I just got a 04 j30a4 accord and I’m scarred to even gas it lol. These cars have so much power for the size and weight it’s crazy. My accord makes my 09 328i feel like a 4cylinder.

I own a J35Y2, in my 2017 Accord Coupe 6-speed manual. First J37 that I'm very envious of. All of sudden my J35 isn't the shining monster it is. Superb car. Is this an original J37 or a J30 (I see the 3.0 cover form the video) with a stroker kit?

Would the 2003-07 accord v6 6 speed trans work on this engine? Current build is 2006 honda accord with a j35a6 and accord v6 6 speed. Do I need different mounts to fit the j37a4?
