I recently watched and finished this anime. And as someone who is really picky with anime (I only like 3) and a violinist for 8 years, this show explains not only people's struggles in an amazing, fluid way, but music in such a way I've tried explaining myself, but couldn't find the words to. I related to this show so much, each episode I almost teared up in, and I don't feel the urge to cry often when it comes to movies or shows. The only episode I didn't tear up on was the last, I actually cried each minute in that episode.

I encourage many people to watch this anime, it is truly a masterpiece.

After finishing the show and rewatching it you really notice a lot more. At 1:34 arima looks at her and she is surprised. 1:39 they both smile, and they both realize that they were able to pull it off. And from that point on Kaori is smiling the rest of the performance because she was finally able to perform with aroma after chasing him for years. At 1:50 she is content with the performance of her life, even if it’s her last.

Twoset Violin should react to how accurate everything is about this animation - the violinist's bowings, fingerings, movements - and even the notes the pianist is playing! Incredible.

and he still played this wonderful piece of art in sync with his partner. He is a freaking legend
