I was resolved to living my life alone 23 years ago, while thought to be engaging, concerned and entertaining - i was an introvert(still am but better) That said, i was genuine but dodged or retreated invites. On January 18, 2002 I at last minute accepted an invite to a birthday celebration. We danced and ive never looked back, married at 49, both of us. This was a point in life when we are set in our ways, but the love/connection was so intrensic/inherent that we've been married almost 20 years, shared and enjoyed experiences, traveled and enjoyed life, enjoy the simplicity of days...not rich...but comfortable, humbled and thankful, we areat a place, love, unimaginable... that first dance 22 ( 23 years ago interaction b4 dance) years ago....i remember her words, what she was wearing and her breath on my cheek before she went home. We played this at her "60" birthday and will again at 70 in January
