You didn't have to use glue on both sides and so much. One drop is enough for such a small piece to be bonded. Believe me it will bond very well with one drop.

Need to mount it to see if it is strong as originally needed. In actual use is the real test!

How clear does it dry, I find Kraft glue drys white clear, I need crystal clear
