My 2 cents: The AnalogFX VXC-2220 for Eurorack modular systems is based on the super rare Synton Syntovox 222 vocoder. It combines a 10-band vocoder, an internal oscillator with saw and pulse waves, and a flexible patch matrix to reconnect every one of the 10 bands or eliminate it from the outgoing signal. Plus, it also features noise for better results when synthesizing 's' and 't' sounds, and different pulse widths. Alternatively, you can feed your external source as a carrier, connect a microphone with phantom power, or feed in your speech (or whatever) signal using the line input.

This kind of effect is certainly not for everyone. But if you like vocoders as much as I do, you’ll likely appreciate the vintage character of the AnalogFX VXC-2220. There are digital solutions that offer more precise results, but when it comes to real vintage vocoder sound with such flexible routing options, the AnalogFX VXC-2220 offers a lot of bang for the buck.

It's $536 USD and for all that cash they cannot make it with an aluminum panel. At least it sounds nice.
