As grandfather of one of the kids that "made it, " I want to say that all these kids are incredibly talented. Sadly, some won't fit into the musical due to their size (might be too old looking), and some just don't carry a presence on stage that is needed. Others may have wonderful voices, but when you are up against dozens of similarly vocally talented people, choices must be made. I am proud to say that the current cast is mostly made of amazing people, young with so much talent that it hurts my teeth!! So much sweetness rolled up into one big ball! Stick it to the man, kids!!!

I felt so bad for the little boy who dropped his sticks....he’s so little and must have been so nervous. I wish they would’ve given him a second chance.

I could have auditioned for this but the freaking casting call said like 8 yo 12 year olds or something like that so I don't go cause I'm 17... these kids look the same age as me wth
