I know a female who has SAID she cracked a glass singing. She was a really talented singer and i have no reason to believe she was making it up. I know you have to match the frequency of the glass exactly. It may be helpful to get it resonating first before you start. Much like a cymbal is still vibrating after you hit it but not audible to the ear. This is just a theory on if it actually can be done.

This can't be done with a handheld glass. The hand helps absorb the proper frequency needed to break the glass!

Breaking a wine glass by singing a note, has been done by a youtuber (Can't remember his name) but it is basically all about finding the right frequency of sound that matches the sound of the glass when you clink it and then maintaine the frequence, so that the glass starts vibrating and the glass will break. BUT her voice is stil absolute fire <3

I don't know why, but I'm really proud to be able to say that my Aunt Lynley (just a family friend, not my actual aunt) broke a wine glass in two perfect pieces before, it was so cool to hear the story. This happened because someone doubted her ability to sing high, so she proved them wrong.

I wish they actually told her how it actually works :/ it’s not just go as high as possible and as loud as possible, you gotta hit the same frequency as the glass and hold it
