How To Crochet Slippers For Beginners (QUICK & EASY)

Calling all beginner crocheters! This slipper pattern is my gift to you. If you are familiar with the basic crochet stitches - single, half double, and double crochet - then you should totally be able to crochet these slippers. You can follow along with the video tutorial, the written instructions, or both! These slippers are perfect ones to start with, because they are easy to make and not very demanding in terms of stitches.

Ok I’m confused, I chained 24, 10 sc (11 if you count the first one) 1 hdc, then 10 dc, after the 10thdc you said you should have 1 stitch left. 11, 1, 10 adds up to 22 so I still have more stitches, how?

Love these -- I've made quite a few of your slippers.. Thanks for all the sharing and clear tutorials. Question: If I wanted to pad the soul by doubling the yarn, how much will it effect the size. E.g.: can I follow instructions for size small for the sole only, then continue with single strand for size medium ? I realize it will require some "fudging". What so you think?

I follow this toturial to exact, doing a size small but my slipper is still too big then, to get lost @22:55 😒 I don't think I'll be able to fix it or finish 🤷🏽‍♀️ I hate wasting yarn 😒 I'm not sure where I went wrong 🤷🏽‍♀️
