Thrifting/antiquing day trips are the best. It's a cherished pastime in my household. Sad that you didn't get to go to all the stores you wanted to hit up, but you did find some good stuff at the ones you were able to shop! I went to an antique show today and came home with a wall hanging full of dead things that is now hanging over the head of my bed, so that was pretty dope.

This was such a fun vlog! Yessica is one of the in store brands for a fashion chain called C&A. They have stores in the Netherlands and Germany. Their clothes tend to skew less adventurous, but they're known for their decent quality. Yessica is their "younger, edgier" line, for a given value of edgyness of course. I've thrifted quite a lot of it over the years, and have trapped yessica securely in my wardrobe.

I think I've already suggested this before but I'm going to suggest it again.. Rochester New York. It's about 4 hours away from you but we have all sorts of thrift shops including a Goodwill Clearance Center which has those giant blue bins you can go rummaging through. Although I don't know if you are allowed to film at those. The other nice thing about Rochester is we have one of the longest running goth clubs in the US called Vertex so it could be an entire weekend Adventure with thrift shops and a goth club. Also one of the oldest cemeteries in the US that is so freaking gorgeous and is picture perfect. It's called Mount Hope Cemetery. There's also a place close by called the Sunken Gardens and there's an outdoor Auditorium nearby too that's fun to play around on. I know you only know me from comments and we met briefly at dark force and I got a picture with you the last day as y'all were getting ready to leave.... but I would love to show you the city or even tell you all the places to go. I'll be at dark force again this year and could happily tell you more information. This city is so underrated though despite having such cool things. It is one of those places where you need to know somebody to know where all the cool stuff is. I know people that have gone here and thought there was nothing. There's even a couple of goth stores.. one of which I sell some of my stuff at that I sew.

Oh and while it's not a goth venue theres also a bar called Lux (the address has 666 in it) and it's all sorts of fun and dark decor.

I feel like that red and black lace dress could've been reworked ( or ) " thrift flipped " into something cool ... like just cut the top part with the neck and arm holes and make a skirt or something ? 🤔 ... I liked the asymmetrical hem and as a goth person I'm a sucker for red ... and black ... and lace. 😂❤🖤✌

I love your thrift vlog videos and the times where you try on the treasures for us to see, If you were to travel to Seattle I wish I could recommend it but it no longer exists. it's not called the purple store (still some goth friendly bits in there) but not much. before it became the purple store it was an antique and vintage shop. near the pike place market. Everything and I mean everything you could think of was there. There was one guy who worked there and the knowledge he had about the items were insane and cool. you literally got a free history fun fact story about an item he saw someone looking at and possibly considering to buy. Halloween time was when they brought out their spooky items and the old boudoir lady I found that I used for my haunted doll theme decor was the last item I got there. now you have to venture out from one side of Seattle to another just to find a place that's as grande or as fun as that place was.

Go to One of a Kind Antique mall in Woodstock. 3 levels. You will need a day to go through it all
