"take the learning, take the teaching, do the reading." There is so much reading to do.

1- I finally watched your video after weeks of it being notified for me to watch. Now I know why. WOW!

2- My Mother use to say "Cassie, come hither" whenever she wanted my opinion or advice on something. Hearing that brought me comfort.

I feel "Spiritually" 2012/2013 changed for loads of people. My Grandmother and Uncle passed away. I had my first child, became pregnant again with twins (one died. Then my marriage ended so I moved back in with my mother.
Fast forward until now, I'm living in Australia about to fly to Ireland. I now know it's where I need to be after being called there for 10 years.

Gosh, with the number of times you've said, "Different story, different day." I really am becoming more and more inclined to dig some more through the catalogue of this channel.☺️

okay I'm so glad there's a word for that "come hither moment" it's a thirst like nothing else! Also much respect for sharing this story, it gives perspective on what empowerment and boundaries look like. It's a lifelong journey to stand in your power!

I feel that I'm also being called by the Morrighan but the feeling comes and goes. Sometimes it is strong and she is always on my mind and other times it's just a vague feeling. It never goes away though.

I’m also a Dagda person who had The Morrigan approach me first, before introducing me to Her husband. Funnily enough, I first knew of the Dagda through Lora mentioning Him in a video, even though I now feel He’d been around me longer than that. The idea of Herself as a goddess of consent gives me a new perspective on why She came to me in the first place, and work I might be able to do with Her in the future. She was the one who opened the door to my better self-knowledge, self-love and sovereignty, so this story touched my heart. Go raibh maith agat 💚

Hi just want to tell you, this is exactly what I needed to hear. I just recently knew about the history of my ancestry's bloodline waaay back in time and how my ancestors made a pact with the Morrigan. I knew about how our ancestors and our clan have similar themes of sovereignty and I discovered she was involved in some way. Since being aware of this, I noticed she kept on appearing in my dreams or in my meditation. I am not even Irish and I just knew about her existence recently. I am amazed by her and all that she had done for others and for my ancestors. But like you said, I have my free will and I will always have a choice on how I move forward. I respect her but I just don't see myself working for her or be bound to a pact/agreement just like my ancestors. But I agree with her views and principles. I just didn't really know how to communicate with deities or gods (it's my first time with such beings) that is why your story gave me a sense of clarity and validation on what I truly feel within. Thank you for this❤

Jon - you have such an authentic and genuine way of telling your story and experiences. Thank you for sharing. I have also noticed that the Morrigan offers and waits, both patiently and impatiently.. It took me a really long time but I made it in the end. I appreciated your comment regarding time and the Morrigan especially as a goddess of prophecy.

I work with the Morrigan, but I feel like she really wants me to shake things up, and I have wanted to visit Ireland since a child bc I’m Scottish/Irish, and now I know I will visit her abode one day, I just hope it’s sooner than later❤!
Much love to you and Lora for all that you do for us and Irish Paganism 😊

Thank you. My heart was warmed by it. I am thankful for being given the words 'come hither." I'm in LA and also feel called to live in Ireland and go to the Cave of the Cats. You almost described exactly my experience of contracting with the Morrigan. You are an amazing bard. I've never felt the" right relation" with other people's story. I did tell her yes. She gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. What I needed her to do required I give myself body and soul to her. She took my pain and anger as her "Toll", then gave me my sovereignty back. The pain and anger is almost gone now. It would have distracted me from the Work, which is a bit Academic in nature. I try to buy classes from the IPS as one of my offerings to the Morrigan.

I'm a McCarthy through my father's maternal grandmother, Alice McCarthy. I only know that I was a McCarthy from County Cork, Muenster, Ireland. My Irish Nana in Boston used to make me repeat that like a mantra. My mother is Mexican and Nana always wanted to give my what I "needed" according to her to proove my Irishness. I have to fight to be Irish. My Paternal Grandad is English/Huguenot. Nana marrying a WASP was a bigger deal than my father marrying a Catholic Spanish girl.

At any rate, the McCarthy's are associated with Desmond, which I think is basically Cork, which I discovered was quite big, just like the McCarthy Tuatha. Outside of the Paps of Anu, I can't think of any associations with the Morrigan and Desmond. She's says it's skills associated with the bloodline and ancestry. All I can think of was the Blanrney. Cliodna is the McCarthy Bean Shide. I did study Rhetoric at Berkeley. Without realizing my connection with the Stone. I completely reject the DNA thing. I kind of find it disrespectful to the ancestors. Unless there is part of your ancestry that's fuzzy and you don't really know aything about your grandfather's ancestry.
I have this issue with my Mexican Grand Dad. He looked European but was born a poor goat farmer which is not consistent with the looking European. So I wrestle with asking Ancestry about it. At any rate, I digress. I just want to thank you for your service as a bard. That was a personally awesome experience for me.

What you have said about respecting boundaries is spot on! I had to confront my family regarding a violation of my boundaries a few months ago and they didn't understand why I was upset and I didn't have the words to explain, or know what words to explain but you have summed it up beautifully. If you don't respect my boundaries, you don't respect me. If I don't respect my boundaries, I don't respect me, that's something I need to address.

What a powerful, moving experience and what strength and fortitude you showed in the face of the calling and offer of a contract.

I am a worker for An Mórrígan and I truly believe in the work I do for Herself, but I recognize it definitely is not for everyone.

It also strengthens the calling I have to visit that cave which I accurately saw in a dream before I saw photographs over 3 years ago and will be a top priority after recovery from my upcoming lung transplant.

I'm surprised that you didn't offer your service. I didn't think one would have a choice in such a scenario. Thanks for sharing this.

It was very nice of you to share your experience with both of them with us thank you. I'm a dual citizen & also having family members from Pagan & Catholic backgrounds so my experience with her was from a very young age. As for me I found The Mórrígan when I was 9 but didn't get a true answer until many years later & trust me when I say it was loud & clear. Now I know what I'm supposed to do & I'm all the better for it.

Never thought about the Morrighan as a goddess who takes consent seriously. Sovereignty, I knew, comes with the idea of one consenting to do things or being governed or led by another, but I hadn't quite connected the idea of setting personal boundaries with those in one's social circle, to the Morrighan.

I’m new to paganism and feel drawn to the Morrigan, but am struggling with some fears because of my religious background and past. Your video really helped me to consider things a bit differently and put my mind at ease about some things. Thank you for sharing your experience.
