Shekar Gupta’s absence of commentary on G20 and Modi’s success is telling. SG will make entire episodes on useless things like Democracy index, hunger index, Freedom index etc but none on India’s G20 achievements

Shekar Gupta must do a detailed analysis of what all Rahul Gandhi said in his Europe visit this time. The G20 is trivial in the face of RG's highly important visit.

The corridor is the coming together of European technology, Middle Eastern capital and Indian market (both labor and consumer). Finally, we are setting our economics "right". Poverty won't go away with slogans and least of all socialism. Many will point toward the many deficits of India, but supply creates its own demand. We just need efficient businessmen, empowered entrepreneurs and committed workforce. All deficiencies can be addressed over a period of time.

US, SAUDI, UAE, Bharat collaboration for establishing railway links in Middle East with Bharat to take the lead will come with specific timelines and deadlines. In next 3 months complete course of action will be framed as to who will plan what, how much money each nation will contribute, who will plan for logistics, who will supervise the complete progress of the project. This project will be reviewed again in next 6months by specific project managers getting appointed for execution.

The EU and US are concerned with slow European economic growth. They also feel the corridor from I dis to Southern Europe still lacks inexpensive transport.

Extend it eastwards of India too. Connect west coast ports to east coast ports of India and extend eastwards to Asean countries Thailand to all way upto Vietnam by railways. Would help Look east policy also

It is only a dream and will never come true. The project is not feasible both economically and technologically. Shipping cargoes directly from Bombay to Piraeus with container vessels only is much cheaper and faster. Building a railway in the desert is just a mission impossible for US/Japan/India/EU.

Lord knows how exactly India fits into this given that the exit point is still via seaport It's just going to use rail line from middle east to EU... That's all. If it ever is ready.

Exactly how does this counter BRI? Goods from India are shipped via sea today and will continue to be shipped via sea in the future..?? The innovation comes in the form of a rail link from uae / Saudi on to Europe. What makes India the exclusive beneficiary of it? What would prevent goods coming from Pak etc to be shipped into the eastern terminus of the rail link?
