is it possible to do a bonding to both glass and pcb using only a cof cleaner, ACF tape and a hot iron like the one you use for pre assembly and ofcorse a microscope to allign the cof tab ic ??? i have not seen anyone do this, and i wounder why!! it cant be that hard, or is there a magic thing on those cof bonding machines. For sale /repair with warrenty i understand the need for a bonding machine, but it must be a way without this machine i have only found bonding to the pcb with solder. this will not work on the glass side for atleast two reasons, solder do not bond to doped glass, and it can break du to heat, ant the tabs on the glass side is incredible smaal and close. but there must be a way using the acf tape cleaner and heat with a handheld tool, the cof can be taped in posision. anyone know about this or seen this done, or know why this will not work. hoping for a reply on this topic
