So thrilled to see and hear this interview as I had not been aware of Jessica's story and how she has soldiered on to recover and excel after traumatic brain injury. As a person who was the dean of a college before head injury, I have understand her journey to recover and I have huge respect for her determination. Injury to a certain part of the brain can definately cause stuttering or other language related difficulties like aphasia. So pleased that she is writing and that Kelly is helping raise awareness, understanding and respect for others with neurological injuries and their ability to continue to contribute to our society in so many ways. More power to you both!

Jessica, Kelly - ignore the comments here. This must have been super difficult to discuss in general but Jessica Simpson has always been a dear with a no filter voice. She got ridiculed by the media for so many years when tearing female artists down was at its peak -- I think she is doing a wonderful job and we should SUPPORT and build up folks.

What I love so much about Kelly Clarkson, and Drew Barrymore too, they make a connection with their guest! It feels like watching 2 girlfriends catch up that haven’t seen each other in a while… so many talk show hosts have guests on and it just kinda feels like they just want to guest in and out, and get the interview over with. But with Drew and Kelly…. They make a connection with them.
