Why should I have to install any software?

NOTE: According to the Epson ET-2800 specs, it only supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11 b/g/n) which is 2.4 GHz, so it won't work with a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Does anyone know what the WiFi passcode is for the mobile app? Mine creates its own WiFi but I tried 12345678 and cus it’s a 8* digit code but it had never asked me to make one. Printing on WiFi is ok. But I’m mobile so I need to use it offline and pc is not always charged. My ios wifi finds it but no where can I find the WiFi code

We do not have a network or home internet. No WiFi. Mobile devices only -- Android phones and tablets. Can we install and use this printer via mobile-only devices?

Can multiple devices be hooked up to this? I just moved and now I can only find the printer on a single laptop.

Help, I set up but only filled black ink and I realized what happened afterwards, and I filled color, but now its still not printing color, is there any way to bring this thing back to its factory Setup mode? So it will pump the color ink?

I'm stuck at ink initialization process and it's been 30 minutes. Obviously something is wrong or should I wait longer??? Wish there were chat assistance or phone number to call.

Printer was extremely easy to set up and came with color and black ink, you just need to buy paper.

I like the printer but the Linux driver installation is a bit of a nightmare. On my 2nd day and still can't get it installed. Epson has the .deb driver files but no instructions on how to install?
Tried calling Epson support they didn't seem to know how to do it either

Mine won't scan to the computer from the scanner even though the wireless is connected. Only gives me an option to scan via USB cable.
