I was behind our Governor until this hurricane. I am in Fort Myers and the emergency response has been terrible across the board. There is no communication, no one giving any timeline for when resources will become available or where. Some resources that have become available are scarce and distant. The locals are doing more for each other than our State and Federal government. Desantis and Biden are in a pissing match over this hurricane and are playing chess with our lives. I AM NOT A PAWN, DO NOT TREAT US LIKE AN EXPOSITION IN YOUR BULL$#!+ GAMES! Extremely saddened how a lot of us are feeling stranded, hopeless and pretty much just waiting to see what happens next. We plan on leaving Florida and if somehow I can vote this fall, Desantis will NOT be my choice. Furthermore, when they called for evacuations, it WAS TOO LATE, and they had no shuttle system to get elderly or low-income people out. They just expected us all to have vehicles and money to get out. Sorry Desantis, but the wages in Florida are WAY BELOW national average, but our cost of living is through the roof, due to mass migrations during Covid. You are NOT a defender of Floridians. You are a sham just like the rest of D.C.
