The Hilleberg Unna has been the tent I have used the last 12 months. It stood between that and the Soulo. Very satisfied with the Unna so far!

I had a 1 person mountain hardware tent for the last 30 years brilliant wee tent.had to upgrade to a two person tent, as I now go out with my big muckle black Labrador Yelo.had him out in the mountain hardware but he just did a couple of pirouettes and plonked himself down.leaving me squashed up against the side of the tent 😂.so I’ve just purchased a Nortent Vern 2, 25% of in the Black Friday sales, couldn’t resist it hopefully it serves us as well as my wee mountain hardwear.keep up the gid work, all the best and a hail lot mair 👍.✊🙏❤️

Agree with the solo, it's such a great tent. Proven over time.
When you have spent over 12 hours tent bound you get to know what you like or dislike a about a tent !

i just upgraded to the Soulo BL i had the same tent as you in the same color and then i touched a BL just once and had to have it i am a bit of a tent geek still have my Scarp 1 to hehehehe and i love my Terra Nova allrounder tents they do good stuff i am on the 4th Voyager the first one i had had the old yellow inner and i like the pioneer for woodland camping in scandinavia i do need to up my quilt game hehehehehe

Hi Geordie, we spoke when you were selling the Scarp. Mine arrived yesterday and Tarptent have reinforced the area where yours wore through, they have also added a corded loop to push the crossing poles through. I recently also bought the Ridgeline and also have been looking into a one person inner. The closest I can find is the Trekkertent Saor which gives the same height and a width of 80cm. The drawbacks are that it only has one entrance and although the connection points are not the same as the Ridgeline I think it can be modded.

seen a couple of scarps over the years and never rated them to be honest, i own a soulo and although it has a few niggles i have never thought of changing it, thanks for sharing

My favourite bit of kit is my sleeping bag. Without a goodnights sleep it can ruin your camping experience. it is imperative to be warm so the right season bag is essential. Enjoying the vlogs Geordie, Keep them coming. I see you are trying out a new tent next time. Do you find you have some kit you no longer use? maybe something to discuss in your next Vlog? I gave some of my old kit to my neighbours kids - They are the campers of the future so I would advise you do the same- I always remind them about the campers code "Leave No Trace. ' and be careful around fires if you make one and make sure that they are completely out by pouring water over them. Take all rubbish home with you. Keep the countryside clean.

Born & bread Seahouses, but left a good few years ago, canny place all the same. Still have family there and Bamburgh. Beautiful part of the country, and out in them hills is almost spiritual.
