Hi friends also try this:


Select vocal region or the whole song.
Go to Effect
Select Vocal Reduction and Isolation
Try defaults first (Experiment with the other settings if necessary)

Audacity is absotutely GARBAGE for removing voice. It completely changes the audio to a shitty sound like its playing on an old nokia phone 🙂

If you do not see 'Vocal Remover' Plugin the read this. Please note In new version its called 'Vocal Reduction and Isolation'. same thing.. Vocal Remover is Nyquist Effect plugin comes with Audacity. If you do not see this plugin after Installation of Audacity, Go to Preference>Effects and Enable all plugin types including 'Nyquist'. Then you will see in Effects list.

I got Audacity recently and so far ive only leaned how to remove background noise.
Now i would like to know if there is a way to remove one person's voice from an audio file, for example, two people are talking, male and female and I want to separate both voices as different tracks and then try to mix them by panning each on either side and then add low music score under it.

By the way, really good production of this song and well sung.

Vocal Remover is Nyquist Effect plugin comes with Audacity. If you do not see Vocal Remover plugin after Installation of Audacity, Go to Preference>Effects and Enable Nyquist. Then you will see in Effects list.

And from mp4 5.07 file found only 55 sec converted wave form,
