The only things I remember from August 2024 were Sabrina Carpenter's music video, the Infamous "It Ends With Us" marketing, Umbrella Academy being released, and the Oasis reunion.

Anyone feel like recent movie releases have been really weak??? Am I just missing something? This summer was such a flop of releases 😭

As a long time "Umbrella Academy" fan, I was disappointed by the lacklustre final season. Everything seemed rushed, and it wasn't helped by the truncated six episodes, as opposed to the usual ten. They'd forgotten to make the characters likable or relatable, and the only highlight were the campy villains, who delightfully chewed the scenery.
