Fun story: there are two politicians here in the Netherlands, Jesse Klaver and Rob Jetten, who are very good friends. A lot of people ship them and the ship name is Resse. They know about this and actively lean into it with flirtatious interactions as a bit of an inside joke. Jetten is actually gay (he lives with his boyfriend) while Klaver has a wife and three sons, they’re just two very good friends with a sense of humor.

Fun animal fact: Corvids (Crows, ravens, etc) are super intelligent. There are crows in Yellowstone national park that have started to "domesticate" wolves, they can be seen playing with the puppies and helping the pack hunt. Alot of Corvids also have better speaking capabilities than parrots.

Ya, in chronic pain medicine, they're is a huge problem with ableism, misogyny, & a hatred of hedonism, which comes together to form opioiphobia where chronic pain disabled are gaslit & accused of drug seeking when all non-opioid pain options have been exhausted. Then when we try to self advocate & try to find the last remaining providers who both know how to rx pain meds & are willing to treat us, we are accused of "doctor shopping along the way, with each denial adding to the likelihood we get denied by the next provider until we finally run out of places to try & end up self medicating with the Russian roulette that is street substances or just taking our lives. And the people in gov who have orchestrated this who conspiracy, who indoctrinate med students, defraud the public with fraudulent research they use to "support" restrictive & draconian "guidelines" that are 100% used as policies, have genocidal intentions along with financial motivations. We are dying daily & the public doesn't even notice since the working class is so invested in victim blaming the underclass, while simultaneously terrified of becoming us as well.

I just love the misconception that a faster birth means that it's less painful. It's the other way around! You need to dilate much quicker in a fast birth and that hurts like hell. My sister had a 4 hour birth; it traumatised her, she got tears all the way to her bum, she hallucinated from the pain, it was intense.

"Save something for marriage"?? I have NEVER enjoyed anything about periods. These men are delusional if they think tampons will "ruin" anything. And, just for curiosity's sake, how big do these guys think tampons are? If you're concerned about something that easily fits in the palm of all but the smallest hands messing up your wife's wedding fun, I think you're telling on your own anatomy FAR more than anything else.

There are some who are able to manage pain better than others, it doesn't matter about gender. Me for example: 7 broken bones (one of which was unknown at time when I broke both my wrists, spinal damage), birthed 4 children w/out pain killers or epidural (no time). So yeah I can tolerate pain a bit easier than others. ER staff were having a field day with me and my broken arm. 😂 My blood pressure being up was the only indication that I was in pain.

**Okay since I've seen multiple posts about women collecting the DNA of every man they've ever slept with, I want to clarify:**
•There were 1 or 2 studies that they seem to be misinterpreting.
•In a large group of women, they were able to find a VERY SMALL trace of cells with male DNA.
•Not all of the women had it.
•The vast majority of the women that DID have male DNA had given birth to a son or had lost a son while pregnant.
•After running through the women's lifestyles & histories, they came to the conclusion that the remaining women who had faint traces of male DNA (without a son) most likely had lost a pregnancy before they were even aware of it.
•According to actual experts, it's estimated that 25-50% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage. Of those, they estimate that about 50% occur before a woman is even far enough along to know she's pregnant.
•The scientists ended their *peer-reviewed scientific papers* with the conclusion that the few women with male DNA (without a son) had most likely had a son that didn't make it.

The problem with a lot of the bad women's anatomy posts? A lot of them have a tiny grain of truth, and they just spiral from that into insanity. But it can sometimes cause people to believe them if they do just enough research to find out that some of what they said is supported by actual science.

I'd get it if the baby gets swapped with another on accident, or if some creep ends up wanting another child, but I'm 99% sure that's not what they're referring to.
