Rare Bearded Vulture Nursed Back to Health by Rescuers

A rare bird made its way back home after getting some help from humankind. The bearded vulture is the rarest of its species and is found in parts of Turkey. One was discovered by villagers exhausted and in need of medical attention. It was taken in by the country’s nature conservation branch, which nursed it back to health. The bird spent 10 days with rescuers, regaining its strength and resting. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

Wow, what a beautiful bird, I have a female black faced vulture that’s been coming around since 2019, she had a mate and 2 offspring that were coming here for a chicken leg snack….we had an outbreak out of the bird flu here and she’s the only one that comes now..💔
