Rubus Benenden, used in Breeding.

This is a one year old Rubus Benenden. It has been flowering on and off all Spring. I have used it in hybrids with a thornless Red Raspberry to see if I can transfer the perennial cane habit to a raspberry type fruit, that is good to eat.
