I am afraid to buy much of anything. My farmer down the road that has a produce mart brings me my vegetables and fruit. He is a blessing. I am mainly eating my preps and his produce. My latest Pete scans didn't look good. The chemo isn't working much this time I know it is off topic, but please pray for me. I am really down after hearing that this morning.

Here in Canada, on the news feed, there are Recalls everyday!, , from Almond Milk, meats, veggies, Fritto Lay chips, baby food, , the list goes on, how can this be happening??

Let's mention the super volcano in Yellowstone had a geyser blow today. Oh, but "it is not indicative of an eruption"... Luckily no one is hurt, just the board walk was destroyed. Made me want to up my water supply.

Danno my question is why aren't we filing a massive class action lawsuit against the FDA for allowing all of this to happen. They are to blame for all of it!! They need to be held accountable for what is happening! This has gotten out of control don't you think?

Honestly, I have started taking these recalls with a grain of salt. It started with Jif. By then I wS already tired of reading about them every day (I get emails from FDA). As a retired nurse. I k ow about listeria and salmonella and what causes the dpread ... and how to prevent it from spreading. I can't believe that after all this time the FDA or USDA or whoever is supposed to be in charge, isn't being held responsible by whoever hired them. Well, we know that won't happen because "accountability" isn't in this administration's vocabulary.
Do I still buy fresh produce from grocery stores? Yes. Do I thoroughly wash them before use? Yes. I also can a lot of it, which I think helps.
But the main thing is cleanliness, which seems to have been tossed out of basic education in the last few years.

We Stopped buying deli meat 2 years ago because of the prices.I'm truly glad we did.We eat slot of eggs & Tuna.Thanks for sharing.
