BOONDI RECIPE ❤️
Recipe:
1. To a bowl, sift 1 cup besan, add a pinch of turmeric powder and salt. Add 3/4 cup water in parts keeping in mind the desired consistency. Whisk well. There should be no lumps.
2. Sugar Syrup: To a saucepan, add 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp water, 1 pc elaichi, a pinch turmeric powder and melt it mixing well. You may also add kesar and kewra or rose water.
3. Now, heat some ghee in a kadai. Meanwhile, add 1/2 tsp baking powder to the besan batter. Give it a quick mix.
4. Using a ladle as shown in the video, slowly pour the besan batter over it. Fry the boondi till the colour changes.
5. Immediately transfer the boondi to the sugar syrup. Take them out, serve and enjoy!
