Sam Howell’s potential is intriguing and he has some quality skill position players around him. EB should be able to maximise whatever potential he has, if he is the coach we all hope. The concern is the offensive line, but his last year in college suggests he is a scrapper who will fight to get the best out of himself and whatever opportunities he has. I hope they give him the season to see what he can be. At some point Washington has to get a break at the QB position. 🤞

All you really need in the 49ers offense as a QB is high accuracy and good timing with an average to above average arm.

I think tariq woolen being better is more likely than alot of sohpmore players because he was already seen as a developmental guy but was great in year 1

Carr isnt bad exactly he just chokes when the game is on the line. Hes perfectly capable of putting up top 5qb numbers its just that his mistakes always come when itll cost him the game. He chokes under pressure.

If the only Falcons player Sam and Steve can think of is Ebiketie they evidently didn't prep for this show properly. Just going off their priors rather than evidence, which contradicts PFF's raison d'etre, no?

Jordan Love is so bad that the Packers made an over the hill QB the first 50 million dollar player. To the contrary, Commanders had same amount of time to evaluate Sam Howell and they chose him over two veterans still in their prime Moreso, there were still viable QBs in the 2023 draft who were available and Ron & Co. said "we're good". Love is a bust. Part of evaluating QBs is the "it" factor. They have a moxy. Baker Mayfield is not Sam Howell. He's a goof. Look at the best QBs and something about them looks off. They are chippers like Aaron Rogers. To this day, Sam Howell is pissed he didn't get more points against the Cowboys. Jordan Love is a goof. Jalen Hurts? Not so much a goof. Not sure why noone realized that about Jalen. Sam is the same. A fullback version.
