How To Organize A Cross Stitch Cart (IKEA Raskog) -10 Tips

Edit: My cart is from IKEA -I've had no problems with the stability or durability of it after a year. I have however heard some negative comments about the durability of the carts from Michaels. I know IKEA will ship if you call their 800 number in your country. Just wanted to add that caveat emptor (buyer beware). You may have a perfectly good experience with your Michaels cart- I hope so. Happy stitching!
1. Protect projects in a fabric-lined basket (mine is from 5 below)
2. Keep your stitching plans in a journal
3. Store tools in a pretty cup (mine is a tin can covered in scrapbook paper and buttons)
4. Protect projects by using hand sanitizer - keep those hands clean!
5. Include an Ort container
6. Store magnifiers in a pretty lidded box
7. Hang thread rings - use magnetic hooks - be inspired to use those threads!
8. Store needles carefully
9. Use clear containers...for threads, kreinik, charms and tiny buttons
10. Store tools to make thread drops
Bonus: cover sharp scissor tips with a nerf dart - lol
