I saw them in Amador at Helwig Vineyard. They were really great! Brought back great memories of past. The lead singer was very spot-on, and added his own touch to vocals.

Everything is absolute about this song but I wish we could have kept the original chorus, those girls were so alive, added a lot!

It sure is still a damn good song!
I can't really tell who's playing lead and who's playing rhythm...I love guy's (on our left as we watch) movements and aesthetic as he plays though. Reminds me of Jimmy Page.
This will probably always be in my top 10 true rock n roll songs! It just grabs me and never lets go... And takes me right back to later 70s, where I want to stay forever! Love The Babys!

I see it all the time... "Without (fill in the blank) they are just a karaoke band."
Examples: Journey, Boston, Foreigner, The Babys, even Van Halen. Obviously the bands won't be the same with a new singer, but what's wrong with carrying on? There are a lot of popular bands out there that go way beyond their mileage and sound worn or listless down the road. Most won't record radio hits past their prime anyway, as their mass popularity has waned and they are now relegated to being followed basically by their loyal base.

I like to see the glass as half full... I'm OK with a new singer if he or she brings a renewed energy to the band. Call them what you want- tribute band, original band, whatever- this guy here does it well and I would be happy to go see them...

If you love this song, see them. They'e wonderful. Original members. Wally Stockton, Wow. Lead singer, back up singers, totally professional band that does not disappoint live. To be perfectly frank, they give this beautiful song more respect and dignity than John Waite does live. Sure, Waite is amazing, no doubt about it, but he's not around. They are, and they are breathing life and love into this amazing music. Go, take a date, get dressed up, and get ready for a wonderful time.

Who are these people? Don't get me wrong, They Sound GREAT and are SUPER TIGHT, The Lead Singer is AWESOME. I'm just wondering which one or one's are from the ORIGINAL BAND. I saw the BABY'S back in 78 at The Aloha Stadium on Oahu. I don't have to tell you how FUCKING AWESOME THEY WERE, needless to say that even though Eddie Money and Santana were on the Card, it was the BABIES that made me buy my tickets, That's how much I LOVED THEM! I was pretty BUMMED when John decided to go to a Solo Career, Bummer Man.
