Dog Alien Run Cycle

This is a 3 stage run cycle for the Xenomorph Runner. Alien 3 takes a lot heat, but it's still the only movie with a quadruped xeno!

How does one even animate such stuff of such detail and manage to make the moving object move even faster off the screen without any messups on the design or any minor changes. Did you have to draw each part for every single slide or is their a way to where after you draw the animations needed for the run you can select the entire creature and just move it and copy paste each pose you need? I tryna learn cause I plan on being a animator.
