So, either they're going to spend 99% of the movie making the eventual animosity between Scar and Mufasa all the more confusing only to have some random thing completely undercut everything else at the very end...or they'll just leave it unexplained so that the movie itself makes sense but not anything bridging the prequel and the first film.

Also, making Scar not be Mufasa's actual brother really undercuts his whole sense of entitlement.

Okay so Mufasa was an outsider and not born of royal blood....so how did he become the King? This literally confuses the whole Lion King story. HOWEVER, it would possibly explain why Scar ended up being the way he was and why he killed Mufasa. 🤔

I don’t understand why they have to completely change the story that was already written. There is already a book called “A Tale of Two Brothers” where Mufasa and Taka were actually brothers. They had a father named Ahadi who looked more like Taka. It defeats the whole purpose of the original plot by making Mufasa not the actual heir of the pride.

Anyone else notice that Taka/Scar is a white lion and that the pride of evil lions are also white lions.

Wow! White lions in a Lion King related film! Awesome! Also, for the record, I don't see anything wrong with the recent live action Disney movies. They're great, entertaining, and just downright interesting. Even my aunt loves them, and says it's just negative characters finding some random thing to take their grouchiness on.

So Disney isn't hidden the fact anymore they took piece of Jungle Emperor/Kimba the White King to make the Lion King. They now complete it by introducing large numbers of white lions who moved into other lions pack territory as the main villain, Scar is now the victim who kingdom was stolen by outsiders, the cub he called brother who he saves a lot in the movie will be the one he *spoiler alert* killes because Mufasa starts a new pride as himself as the Lion King. Yeah white lions were hunted down by other carnivores and human hunter until they were extinction and now are protected. But Disney is like white lions and Mufasa deserve what happens to them because they are outsiders who invaded and take away other African lions land like real lions do in the wild, also the fact white lions are native of Southern Africa but no white lions are bad because of white people.

So scar was meant to be king until mufasa showed up not wonder he wanted him gone
