Amazing little beasts for what they are... Going to sell them in a month tho as they don't make the cut for equalized sound quality. But no worries, going to upgrade to some amazing Polk Audio speakers! :D

Hey Dude, just picked up a mint condition used pair of these babies for a very fair price and I Absolutely LOVE THEM!! They look great, sound great and was pleasantly surprised at how big they actually sound on a good amp, I only tested them at 30% capacity at the pawn shop where I got them, but when I got a chance to bust them wide open at home, I was like Wow!! and I'd never sell them!! Crystal clear and sick bass for such a small bookshelf sized speaker, hope you like your new old Polks over these, I'm sticking with these beautiful Cerwin Vegas

I've got these speakers, they are amazing when you put them on an amp that can power them to their full potential. the Hz range on them is stunning the quality you get from them when hooked up to a studio card from my pc to my HiFi is jaw dropping. the bass from these shake my floor when my Subwoofer is off. and acoustic they sound amazing when you set them up right.

I got mine off my uncle for £40 looking for 4 more to replace my whole 7.1 system with these.

Im getting these used in mint condition for my cheapo home theater setup and occasional music listening. Mostly i do my music listening with Superlux earbuds they have the clarity/detail as some 100-200$ headphones.

When i was 12 or 13 my pop bought me some vs10 cerwin vegas and a jvc amp/ tuner and cd player. Those speakers wereloud as fuck rms 200 watts.. Bass for days. Wish i still had them.

The amplifier you have does not have enough power. It will be the amplifier distorting not the speakers.

The lepai puts out 15W with the better 5A power supply. with the stock 2A power supply it is only 10W without distortion

Those speakers are to small for lots of bass and great sound quality at the same time. You want bass at least get a 8 inch speaker or bigger. Sound quality declines when 5.25 inch speakers are being pushed to their limits with bass. 5 hz test, get larger woofers for bass.
