Review: Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) Mini

So go on - who can name a better racing game that runs at fewer frames per second than Road Rash II? Daytona USA on Saturn is probably close but I think even that runs smoother. Any suggestions?

Connected to a normal TV?

Do you feel/see/hear any input lag or sound delay? Or are that so small that it's impossible to notice?

I'm most happy about Mega Man 1-3!

If you are honest when counting the games, it's not 42. It's 44-45! Just because of Mega Man Wily Wars that is a game collection - not a game. It's 3 games and some bonus gameplay.

I own one NES Mini and MD Mini. Gonna be amazing to play Mega Man 2 on both machines! The 8-bit original game and the 16-bit remake.

Good Video! Only that no matter what is being said, the mini mega drive simply does not convince me.

Street fighter 2 on the MD was such a bad port because Capcom supposedly reused SNES sprites and other graphical attributes from the SNES. If you look up lord HiRyu he has done some amazing work on getting the Mega Drive to produce a very close to original arcade colour scheme.

As for the resolution - tut tut Capcom... very lazy!

To be fair, i have the SNES mini which was ugly to the europeans cause i live in North America, and Sega Genesis Mini with 2 6 button controllers separate.

Calling the AT games sega mini awful is an unfair exaggeration. I have one, and I'll tell you if you gave that to 13yo me back in 93 I'd have shit my pants. All the Golden Axe games, MK, all 3 Sonic games, Ristar, Shinobi. Shit, even if the sour is a bit off and it doesn't have HDMI it's got so much going for it I don't know how anyone can seriously call it awful . We're too privileged these days we take everything for granted. Sure it's not as good as the new Sega Mini buts it's not bad. It even has some games this mini should have had, As I said give that to any kid in 93 they'd have felt like they won the lottery.
