My French professor was so bohemian, she would dress with scarfs, and those cute hats you usually see in movies. She was into classical music, theaters, and opera, the classical "Parisian Life"

The frenchest French city here is Rouen. Truly beautiful, amazing architecture, excellent representation of France during the middle age. The "old" part of the city is full of "charme", i'm very lucky to live there ahah. If you love France, I really recommend you to rather go to other citys than Paris like Bordeaux, Dieppe, Lille, Nice, or even to very small village in the middle of nowhere. Over there, people are complete sweetheart and will love to show you around !

I'm moving to Paris in less than 2 weeks, I've been really anxious for the past few days knowing that I will soon leave everything that I know and love to move in a completely different city... But I'm also so excited for the future!

Update:
I wanted to give a little update (mostly for myself). This is the end of my first year of study in Paris. And this year has been by far the most rewarding year of my life. I learned so much, about myself, but also about how to live alone, how to grow up, how to meet new people. Sometimes it was very difficult, and Paris is a big city in which you get lost very quickly. It was emotionally hard to have no reference points sometimes... But I could never describe the feeling of walking at night in front of the illuminated Notre Dame and enjoying the banks of the Scène, surrounded by people dancing and chatting happily. It seems unreal. I can't wait to continue living here. And I made the right choice in taking a leap of faith and moving there! This year has made me braver, I think... I wish everyone who is about to go through a big change in their life to make the most of it and to have faith in themselves. :)

Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧

• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋

• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧

• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕

• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨

•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈


Reminder:After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.

I love how life in France is so romanticized. I used to live in France until 5th grade and it was amazing. Walking home from school and getting warm baguettes with my grandma and sister. Biking around my neighborhood. Arguing in French with kids at the park (😭💀). Anyways I’ll be going back to Paris during summer to see my family :3!! I hope all of you get to visit France
