Defending our Environment - Xylella Fastidiosa

We’re supporting the awareness and educational campaign of the Plant Protection Directorate Malta.

You will see this video during our inflight entertainment about the “Xylella Fastidiosa” - a bad bacteria affecting olive trees in Italy and beyond. It also destroys citrus trees, vines, stone fruit and ornamental plants.

Let’s all safeguard and protect our precious plants and contribute towards a healthy environment. If you’re a guest on one of our flights DO NOT bring any kind of plants with you to Malta. They could easily be infected without any visible symptoms.
